Practical Rimfire Precision Rifle Matches:

The Practical Rimfire Match is a rimfire take on the Precision Rifle Series. Shooters can expect tactical and practical types of target engagements from 10-300 yards.

Typical Course Of Fire: Shooting will take place under time constraints, from various positions, oftentimes using barricades and stage props to introduce non-orthodox positions. There will be movement to and between shooting positions.  Stages will often start with an unloaded rifle and out of shooting position.  Targetry will include paper targets and steel reactive targetry.  For  example: Shooter starts unloaded inside box.  Shooter then must move to short wall barricade and engage five targets in any order while touching the wall.  Each target can only be engaged with two shots, and shooter must reload at least once during the stage. Targets range from 50yds to 275 yards.  Shooter will have 3 minutes to engage all targets. Cost is $10 for  NKSSA members and $15 for non-members.
